    Hi

    I select nearly 100 cells, then I paste a word into them. I expect to paste my word into all cells such as MS Word; But the only cell I click into it fill with my phrase not the all cells. How to paste a character into a bunch of cells at the same time.

    Great question! Try this: Paste the word into one cell. Then select the cell (not the text in the cell, but the cell itself… press Escape to do that). Then select all the cells and paste.

    Thank you for this useful tip, but another question come to mind, how to select nonadjacent cells instead one by one?

    InDesign does not have that functionality.
