Hi everyone, I am running into an issue where I had a trial plugin and now, everytime I try to package up a file I get an error saying that “This document cannot be packaged due to missing plug-ins. Please install or activate these plug-ins: ExtremeChartsMain.InDesignPlugin.”

I’ve had other documents with plugins that I no longer use and the preflight catches those but still allows me to package up the file. I don’t recall even using this Extreme Charts plugin on this document so I’m not sure what’s going on.

      Any ideas??

      thanks!

      Chris

Ack! I didn’t realize that was an issue with ExtremeCharts. You can usually strip that data out by saving as IDML and then opening the IDML file and reserving.

      Thanks, David! That worked.

I don’t even remember using that plug-in on this project. It just seems to have attached itself to every project I worked on during that trial period.

This is truly irritating. I uploaded ExtremeCharts after reading about it here. Never could get it to work. But now it’s everywhere. Multiple contacts to the company have resulted in 0 responses. I would like to permanently remove instead of having to save as IDML for every document. Last time I try a plugin, that’s for sure.
