I create Technical manuals and use alot of callouts with an arrow or line.

These arrows or lines are black and travel over black and white graphics.

I would like to outline the arrow or line to have a contrast with the background and make it stand out.

I have tried to “create outlines” but it is grayed out.

I tried setting an outer glow, with not much luck.

I currently draw two lines, one white and one black and offset them. This method is alot of work as I have to create alot of them and then move them later with tyranslations.

      Any ideas?

      Thanks in advance

      Eugene, thank you!

That is exactly what I was looking for.

I like the nice sharp lines you get with the lines. Like someone else said, great for maps.

I do use arrow heads, so I had to use the drop shadow method.

Just wish that had a crisper outline.

      Thanks again,
