      Hi there.

I’d like to know how to get the text on the right hand row of a 2 column table to flow onto the next page.

At the moment there is a gap at the bottom of the page because the next row has too much text to fit on the current page: https://ibb.co/kxg68LY

      Thanks

Well, first of all, that looks like a totally fascinating book. I love the concept of Interclusivity, which I had not heard of.
Anyway, as for the problem you’ve got… yeah, that’s a limitation of InDesign — a single row cannot break across pages. Some people fake it by splitting the row into two. Or they avoid it by setting up this kind of layout using something other than a table. (For example, you could have a heading, followed by a tab, followed by the description… and then make the heading “hang” with a large left indent and a negative first line indent.

Thank you for your quick response David! And thank you for your explanation, i’ll look into your suggestions, splitting the row might work.

When the book’s out i’ll send you a link ;-)

        Thanks again!

Maybe we can’t do it because of our ‘western capitalist mindsets’ ?

You can try with smaller text size, leading, sans serif condesed font…
