I've just upgraded to CS5 from CS2 (whew!). And in CS2, I had a PlugIn (APID ToolAssistant TextExport) that would allow me to export all text (not graphics) in a CS2 doc to HTML. Well, I've downloaded the same PlugIn for CS5 and now they're charging for it. So I'm thinking there MUST be a way to export HTML text from CS5 and retain all font formats (bold, italics, etc.). But for the life of me, I can't find it. I did an export to Dreamweaver, but none of the text retained it's formatting. What am I missing?

A lot has changed in the years since CS2. ID will export HTML by using the File > Export For > Dreamweaver command.

The HTML will be defined using CSS classes. You'll need to choose the appropriate setting for the CSS export. The one I would recommend is Include Style Definitions.
