      Hey all,

I'm trying to figure out how to create a line listing. That's what I call it anyway, let me see if I can demonstrate.

      iPod Shuffle …………………………………. $99.99

      iPad …………………………………………… $499.99

Like that! I can't imagine that catalog designers do this manually with tons of periods. There's gotta be some automated process that makes it super simple.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Leaders are a function of the Tabs panel.

I know this is an old post, but still… I like to set this up with nested styles in the paragraph style and one character style.

      My text looks like this:
      [text][space][tab][space][$/€][tab][123.45]

I create a character style (I'll call it “tab” here) that's got a japanese dot underline set up, nothing else.

The nested style inside my paragraph style then gets set up like this:
      [none] up to 1 tab
tab (character style) through 1 tab
[none] up to 1 forced line break
      [repeat]

The reason I use a tab between the $/€ and numbers is to be able to keep those aligned nicely.
The spaces around the first tab are just to keep the line from touching the text as I don't like that look very much.
