      Hi,

      i have box1 with text1 in color1 and another box2 with text2 in color2.
both texts are arranged so that they overlap. now i want to give the intersecting/overlapping parts of the text/letters a different color3.
      how can i achieve this?

(with photoshop this is easy but only possible, if the text layers are rasterised, and then they won’t scale anymore)

      thank you in advance

You have to convert the text to outlines, and then use pathfinder operations to achieve the result you want.

You can also use a landing mode on text1 frame. But then you’d have to understand how blending modes work in order to get the color you want. But it’s worth experimenting.

Try experiment with blending modes in text1 and you will get your desired result.
