How to change 'crop to' option persistently

      Working on a load of documents and replacing links a lot of times I discover that every time I open the place dialog the crop option is set to ‘Crop’. In order to ensure that the link does not shift, every time I have to set this option to Bounding Box .
      Is it possible to change this option persistently to ‘Bouning box’?

      Not sure if this will help, but try toggling:

      Preferences->Links->Preserve Image Dimensions When Relinking

      I tend to use the Links Window to replace images instead of Place.
