      hi

is there a way to balance columns in multiple text boxes (to balance columns you need to select the text box and you cannot select 2 text boxes that are on different pages so how can i balance columns in a file with 350 pages)?

      thanks

Sounds like you need to use Master Pages

      Hi,

I think if all of your text frames are applied with basic text frame object style (please check object style panel), then you can edit the style by double clicking it and then Go to –>Text frame general options and check “Balance Columns” on the right side of the panel. Maybe it will resolve the issue. Else you have to create a new object style with “Balance Columns” attribute and apply it to all text boxes with find/change.

      Thanks

      hi
To set a text frame so columns stay balanced, select the frame and open the Text Frame Options dialog box by pressing Command+B (Mac) or Ctrl+B (Windows). In the General tab, select Balance Columns.17 nov. 2015
