How start a book project in ID? (compare workstyles)

      How to start a project from a book (rather text) in InDesign? I commented as I do:

      1. I receive the file in Word

      2. I prepare the file in Indesign (margins, master pages)

      3. imported the Word file and with a script skeep italics or bold type styles (here the link)

      4. I define the styles used (headings, subheadings, citations, footnotes, etc…) And then I apply them to each paragraph as appropriate.

      5. Seeking double spaces between words and delete.

      It's basically what I do.
