Just wondering in the 64bit-ness has helped with redraw speeds… Just want to know if it feels faster and less glitchy. I know it is very subjective but that is the point.

I have gone back to CS6 as I have found CC very laggy and unresponsive. (iMac 12g RAM) Some say this is only present if you open documents created in earlier versions into CC, but since all my docs are obviously legacy versions this doesn’t help at all. I was looking forward to CC so I really wanted it to work, but couldn’t stick it.

There does appear to be a small number of people who find CC to be incredibly slow. Adobe is aware of it, but I’m not sure if they know what is causing it. Some people find that closing the Info panel speeds things up, but other people find that doesn’t help. But it does make me wonder if closing all the panels (hit Tab or Shift-Tab) would help.

For my part (and most people I talk with), CC is faster, not slower.

For me (win 7-64b, 48g ram – 3 SSD disks, Gbit network) it’s not faster or slower than CS6. Sometimes, the response time is, or seems to be, sometimes a bit slower than the previous version, but what is slow?
