How does a printer get missing fonts in a flight check on a pdf/x-1a pdf??

      And so they asked either for me to send the font or for the fonts to be outlined!!!

      Why would this happen?

      I am just trying to trouble shoot this. Thanks in advance

      If the fonts were asian (Japanese or Chinese) maybe? or, more likely, if you used fonts that cannot be embedded (based on the font manufacturer's settings… there are a few fonts like that out there).

      Hi David,

      It's not Asian and the typeface is Gotham. Perhaps it is the latter. It did surprise me.

      And really, who doesn't have Gotham these days? :)
