      Hi!

I've tried googling for that issue and came across this solution :

      https://smallbusiness.chron.com…..44146.html

It works but I can't control the aesthetics of the icons link – they're ugly, and I have to specifically say 'click on the icon to open' for example (as oppose to creating a generic line that says 'click here to open' coz the hotspot is THE icon only).

I also have major issue with the permanance of the speach bubble. Is there a way to get rid of it? The speech bubble there looks very unprofessional — like an edited afterthought as that is truly from a 'comment' tool in Acrobat.

(how do I upload a snapshot here to show a sample?)

I need to include ppt / excel / word file links in my interactive pdf. Are there other ways to do it? Or at least get rid of the unslightly speech bubble?

      Thanks thanks!!

      Ling

I think that's one of the reasons Adobe developed the Acrobat “portfolio” feature — lets you combine files into one PDF. But you have to use Acrobat Pro to make those; not InDesign.

Oh dear.. I have no idea what Portfolio does..

Seems like I have to re-create pages form there? I'll have look up on the topic myself.

I found another way – by using the Link Tool in Acrobat and thereby select Open Files as the action. It works!

I just have to test that it opens fine after I burned the files into a CD!

      : )

Thanks for your help! I appreciate it very much.
