      G'day folks

When creating roll-folded documents I set them up as multipage spreads with reducing page widths and then create press ready PDFs using the spreads option and turning Crop Marks on under Marks and Bleeds in the export dialogue box.

However, say I tell Indesign to use a 5mm offset, while the crop marks are offset by that amount the fold marks are offset by 7mm; if I instruct a 3mm offset, the crop marks offset by that amount while the fold marks offset by 5mm, etc.

Is there anyway I can either lengthen the fold marks or change the inbuilt crop/fold mark relationship so that both types of marks offset by the same amount?

      Thanks n cheers, Gobit

I have been looking for this also. No luck so far.

I think you’d want to create your own fold marks inside the Slug area.

That’s what I have been doing for over 30 years, lol. Just wishing I could save a step I guess.
