How can I stop images from auto-rotating when replacing images?

      We have an issue where our art director places a jpeg out of a Canon 1Ds Mark IV into an InDesign catalog page. Prepress processes out a psd from cr2 (without adding any pixels to size, etc.). Then when this psd is drag/dropped into the box with the jpeg, the image auto-rotates 180º. This doesn't happen repeatedly – just every now and then. Any ideas? Thanks!
