      hi,

I have seen many times that PDF newsletters are done as images becase I can not copy them as a text and it says it's image. I am still an amateur and would like to know

      • if it's still done by InDesign?
      • if yes, what's the benefit to do it as an image?
      • and how can I do it?

maybe everybody knows but not me hehe

I appricate so much for your precious advice!

      thank you.

I don' t know about the benefits as I don't do newsletters. But to make a PDF, you export your InDesign file. You can choose PDF, EPS, or JPG. Be sure you have that black arrow on when you do it, and not the text tool.

      And welcome to InDesign Secrets

I do not think there is any benefit of a jpg newsletter! That sounds terrible. I think PDF would be much better.
