    When I launch INDD and select and open a document from the list of Recent, INDD will open the TWO most recent. (Usually it is the last two, but sometimes it’s a random file from a day or 2 ago).

    What causes this? It’s annoying, and yesterday I almost saved over the wrong file since I had two very similar documents open and didn’t realize I wasn’t working in the correct one until I tried to save. The wrong file was still in the last version so luckily a warning popped up.

    I tried to search for previous posts, but maybe I wasn’t searching for the right keywords.

    This happens virtually DAILY for me (as well as my other designer colleagues that I work with)! In addition to the file I desire to open, In Design will open a second file from either earlier in the day or previous day! Almost every day I experience this same thing!!! This started happening after we upgraded to latest, most recent version of In Design. Does not take place with Illustrator of Photoshop.

    Fascinating! I strongly suggest one of you post this bug on indesign.uservoice.com and then everyone who has this problem “vote” for it. That’s one of the best ways to get the InDesign team to pay attention to it.
