      Hi
I need to change to bold all the numbers larger than 0,5 and all the numbers smaller than -0,5 in tables
¿Can i use GREP for this?

      Thanks!

Ok this is the first part (plus numbers)

      Find GREP
      0\.5[0-9]+|[1-9]\.[0-9]+

Seems to work for second part (minus numbers)

      -0\.5[0-9]+|(-[1-9])\.[0-9]+

You’d have to search each table individually though – or if you used paragraph styles, then this might workin the GREP styles – although you may need to make several variants.

Let me know if you have any issues.

Ok, thanks. I’ll try it. Other expert has told me to use:0\,[5,6,7,8,9]. I have trayed it and works with find GREP, but didn’t works perfect with greph styles, because only change the first decimal.
I am going to test yours, and i’ll tell you.

      Thanks!

      Hi Eugene! ;-)

      Grep style: (\+|–)0\.[5-9]\d*|[1-9]\d*\.\d*

But … [I totally like when there’s a “But …”] [maybe I’m wrong!], if Ana has these data in tables, a better idea is to define a para style with a “Bold” option and insert a grep style to exclude the interval ]-0,5 ; +0,5[:

      ^(\+|-)?0\.[0-4]\d*|0$

associated to a char style with “Regular” option. The “0” is included! ;-)

      … or:

      ^[+-]?0(\.[0-4]\d*)?$

      ;-)
