      Hello,

I've been given a pdf by a new company we just aquired that needs to be updated, but they were unable to locate the source files, which means I need to convert it to an InDesign file. I know there's a plugin that will do it, but we can't spend $300 on this one time conversion.

Would any one who has the plugin be willing to convert the file for me? In trade I streamline styles in some files for you (bullets, nesting, GREP, etc).

They might be violating the license if they did that. I know Markzware's conversion tools prohibit using them to convert files on a service bureau basis. Why not contact Recosoft and see if they'll convert one file for you as a test.

Otherwise you can save the PDF as Word and then an place that into ID….you'll have lots to clean up.

Copy paste text from acrobat to indesign?

Rightclick with acrobat pro Touch-up object tool onto any illustration used, it opens up illustrator (when selected multiple objects) or photoshop (one image object.)

I don't know how much pages you've got. And don't know if your boss think it's worth all your time?

      Good luck anyways
