Help! Inconsistent Strikethroughs on Export

      Hello!

I’m using strike-throughs for headings per the lovely Nesting trick posted on this site. Problem is, when I go to export the file some of the Headers format the lines differently!

I selected thin-gap-thick for line type, with a gap color. I’m using a character style to apply the strike-through.
      – Some lines appear as intended (Thin-thick(gap)-thick)
      – Others show as Thin(gap)-Thick-Thin(gap)
      – and a third appearance is Thick-Thin(gap)!

If I can at least get this to apply consistently to every header, I could live with it, but the randomness looks really bad.
I have tested various combinations of overprinting for the strikethrough and/or gap color, and its affected nothing.

I assume it is something with my export settings, because that’s when it shows up – but a) why would it be variable, and b) I have no idea What it could be.

I have an image here, https://i.ibb.co/wQLWBbQ/Strikethrough-Formatting-issue.png

Sorry, but I don’t know how to apply formatting in this forum yet!

Anyone have any ideas on what to do? This is a publication-stopping issue right now…

Can you describe the paragraph and character style that you have applied? Your screenshot is too small.

      Hello Mariah,

I made a new document with a paragraph style for the headlines and a nested character style in it for the strike-through. If I understand your description, it seems to work very well. You can download the InDesign-file (in case you use an older version I saved it an IDML, too). You can download the files here:
