      How can search and replace alpha list like:
      (a) the quick brown fox….
      (b) the quick brown fox….
      (c) the quick brown fox….

      I need
      a. the quick brown fox….
      b. the quick brown fox….
      c. the quick brown fox….

      GREP thru in indesign cs5.5… Help!

      OK, here’s a harder challenge for you (just for fun): GREP for catching all “emoticons” such as :-) and ;-) and :) and… hm… there are many of them! My favorite is from a Japanese friend of mine who used to use: °J° or *J*

      I would hire someone from Amazon Mechanical Turk to sit and watch for them. ;-)

      Well maybe I could start with [:;]-?[)(] to get the emoticons I mentioned above, plus :-(
      But… I don’t know if it possible to get all of these:

      Well! … David, I would not play it like this but using a script including the list of all the emoticones [seasoned with Grep codes] in a certain order [“0:)” before “:)”], supposing we have before/after a space or nothing!

      So, Yeap! … Simple Grep codes inside a script!
