When I save a grep find/change with (.+) in the findwhat line, next time I open the saved find-change, the (.+) in the findwhat line has changed into three hyphens — The (.+) will still be present in the dropdown list and I can reselect it and do the change. But what I can’t do is save it and run it in a chain of changes. I have found no reference of this phenomena on the internet and am hoping some of you may know a solution. I am using CS6 8.0.2

That does not happen for me. Very strange. Are you sure, when you open find/change again, that you are still in GREP? Maybe it changed to the Text tab?

I re-did the searches with carefull attenion to the taxt/grep tab and was not able to reproduce the error. Only the older searches do keep coming back with the three hyphens. Must have been a mixup. Thanks for pointing it out David.
