Hi friends, I am new to this forum and this is my first post. I am a photographer and occasional graphic designer, and have designed brochures, catalogues, walking tour maps and restaurant menu. I have to work on some of these things because as a photographer, some small companies asked if I would do these for them.
I am planning to get a job as a desktop publisher (because less travel!) for banks/consultant companies and want to take my InDesign skills to a pro level of a desktop publisher.
I am quite proficient in both Photoshop and Illustrator, and like I have mentioned above, I have used InDesign to design some catalogues and brochures but to be conservative, I’d say my InDesign skills is rather basic. I shall appreciate if anyone can recommend me a good online course (except Lynda.com because I am watching it now)
Any additional tips on what it takes to become a desktop publisher is highly appreciated! Thank you very much in advance and have a nice evening!
