Is there a way to change a frame’s content type to one of the other options.

The options are Graphic, Text and Unassigned. To change the frame type, you can right-click and change in the menu or via Object > Content. I am looking for a way to automate that process by using Edit > Find/Change > Object and using a text type Object Style. I have looked at Object Styles and failing to see the option to change the frame type in the dialogue box with no option resulting in the frame having the Text frame symbol.

Some extra information, I have a collection of forms, that were originally designed to be printed, with white boxes laid over a colour background. I would eventually like to change the graphic white boxes to be buttons to allow me to assign tags to the form.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No, I don’t think this is possible with Find/Change.
I think you would need to change the buttons page by page. Or perhaps you could get a short script that would make the change for you.
