I’m probably missing something very basic, but it’s driving me nuts and I’m wasting a lot of time. I have a book cover image that was created in Adobe Illustrator. I want to use that image in FaceBook, Twitter, etc. I try to do this:

      1. Create a new Web document with a size appropriate for the medium
      2. Create a frame and paste the image in the frame
      3. Fit the image proportionately to the frame
      4. Export frame to a jpeg
      5. Import into FB, etc.

The image shown in FB, regardless of the size I make it in ID CC2015, will only be a portion of the image that was in ID. I’ve tried everything I can think of. Can anyone help me understand why this happens and how to change it? Do I need Illustrator in order to change the original image?

      Thanks in advance.

I’m not sure if this will help, but it might: https://creativepro.com/export-selection-precise-size.php

Thank you David. This might be the issue. I played with that resolution setting a little, but it looks like I didn’t drop it down anywhere near as low as I needed. I’ll test it out.

      Thanks again!
