Flattening and PDF's help?

      hey there. Is there a way around this, when I export a PDF then open it, its re-building the file when open?
      I have an interactive layout I’m trying export for pdf. Any suggestions appreciated.

      What does “rebuilding the file when open” mean?
      Are you exporting using “PDF (print)” or “PDF (interactive)”?
      What are you opening the file in?

      when the file re-opens in Acrobat it shows the different pieces of art in my layout being pieced together, I want a solid pdf file.
