This may be a real basic question but for what ever reason, I can't figure it out.

How do I find and replace all “register marks ®” with a superscript version of the “register mark”?

      Thank you in advance!

Ehm. You mean, where the registered mark is already drawn as a superscript, rather than normal?

      It differs per font …

Yes, exactly. When importing text into the document or changing to a different paragraph style, the “register mark” loses the superscript attribute. The “register mark” unfortunately is all throughout the document. Is it possible to attach the superscript attribute to all “®” marks in one fell swoop?

You can give it a character style

Then you can give it a nested style in your text, and say

None up to Register mark style

      Superscript through 1 register mark

      repeat

      (or something like that?)

Or you can do a find replace for Register Mark and change it to Superscript

      Yup… got it.

I had to create a character style based on “none+superscript”. Then did a find & replace for “^r” and added the “superscript” character style I created to the “change format” box. It worked beautifully.

      Thanks for the input.
