      Hello,

I’m looking for the approach used for editing the image in the below link. What is the file format used here which allows the user to edit text on the image?

      https://www.vistaprint.in/studio.aspx?template=2223432_017&ag=True&xnav=previews&xnid=button_58&rd=1&GP=2%2f1%2f2016+10%3a09%3a21+AM&GPS=3751484933&GNF=1

Just keen to know if this design is generated using any script or a photoshop outcome.

      Regards,
      Shashik

      Hi Shashik,

There are a number of software packages available for creating editable templates. One of the print vendors I work with uses a software called Pageflex, which can take an InDesign file and convert it to a proprietary format that allows users to enter text and images via a web form. What you are seeing on VistaPrint’s website is custom software.

There is a website called Canva [www.canva.com] which has a paid version available [“Canva for Work”] that allows similar functionality, if you need to partially lock down your designs for use within a single company.

Thanks a lot for your reply and valuable information. May i know what would be the format of the output file designed through InDesign?I should be able to save the designed file along with the editable text(elements) rather than a completed ready to print file.
