      Hello all!

I have a weird problem when i export a document to PDF. The document is a label for a record, and i use images which i made in Photoshop on both the A- and the B-side. On both sides i use the exact same colour red. Both of the PSD files use a PSO Uncoated ISO 12647 ECI print profile, as requested by the printer. So far so good. But after exporting to PDF, the A-side of the label has a nice deep red, as i intended, but the B-side seems to be a lot more dull and fainted after exporting. Not just the red, but the overall image is a lot less “fat” looking than the A-side. It is weird since i use exact the same print profile and the same settings for the PSD files. Has anyone experienced the same thing?

      With regards,

      Sander

You are making an uncoated file – that will make it faded. How are you exporting the pdf? Do you convert colour in “Output”? If not, try to use that feature to control the colour. Choose “Convert to destination …”, and select the correct profile, and see if that helps.
