Exporting Vector Links

      Hey,

      I have a question for a few years. I was never able to solve it and I think it’s time for it.

      I have an indesign file with vector work and a linked image. (For information, this vector work is coming from AutoCad.)
      I’m linking this file in InDesign and when I export the final file, this page is huge.

      I tried saving the Illustrator file as .ai, as a simplified PDF (no layers or editing capabilities…) – produces a huge exported PDF.
      And as a png or tiff – produces a really bad quality exported PDF.

      I can’t find a solution. Any ideas?
