Exporting to PDF- object lines distorted

      I am having problems when exporting my document to a PDF.

      I have 3 rectangular object lined up beside each other, they are all the same height, and everything matches nicely and looks really pretty, in InDesign.

      When I export the document to a pdf, the lines in varying objects are completely distorted and they no longer line up evenly.

      However, when I print the PDF file, the lines are even and look smooth. My problem is, the PDF is destined for online use and students will not benefit from the other interactive features if they print the file.

      Any help or tips will be appreciated!
