In InCopy I have created a template, entered my content and tagged it. Currently I can XML export into InDesign to allow dual editing but my preferred workflow is to orginate the 'story' in InCopy and import into an InDesign template (not xml and not using the 'Place'text function) with tags to allow mapping to paragraph styles.

The popular process seems to be – orginate in InDesign and export 'stories' to InCopy to allow dual editing. Unfortunately this doesn't fit with our preferred process.

I would be most grateful if you could help me with the InCopy to InDesign query.

      Thank you.

you might be able to get something to work with scripting; otherwise I have no idea how you can import a file into an InDesign template and have it map tags to styles without user intervention in InDesign.
