      Hi All,
I had to design a catalogue in Indesign for an automotive company.

Now they need it in HTML in order to make a website. Unfortunately HTML from Indesign does not work properly. They want to use Indd TOC in order to use each chapter. By export in HTML when more under-title at same page are shows allays the whole page and does not lead the titles.

I tried to export HTML from Acrobat PDF (generated in Indd). The issue is the same. The content leads to page and not to title.

Do you have some ideas about how can I right TOC generate or export from Indd or Acrobat.
      Thank You!
      Miro

Yes, as Steve pointed out, the in5 plug-in is excellent for exporting HTML.
Another option is to use File > Publish Online, which can export InDesign documents to the web.

However… It sounds like perhaps your issue is the TOC links?

      Thank you for the answers.
      I will try with in5.

In5 works but keeps the page links:(

I think that the main issue is in TOC generating. I changed some content links to lead to the Textline and not to page and then it works. Unfortunately there are about 200 lines in TOC and it is crazy to change them manually.

There is an option in TOC generator to make anchors in text – these I can not find.

Is there another way to construct the pages in order to have links from TOC to text title lines?

      Thanx

Miro: What does it mean to have the links go to “the text title lines”? Do you mean, you want to zoom in on the line? Going to the page is not enough?

David: exactly that need the Web designer to make a website from indesign book:(
