Excel to Indesign Cell range error

      Hello,

      I am trying to import a cell range from a selected spreadsheet, i have selected the right sheet and the right cell range but i get a cell range does not exist error message.

      What can i do to troubleshoot this, earlier i had no trouble using the same excel sheet with other ranges.

      Apparently there is a bug with newer file versions where it cannot handle a certain multiple of columns. The solution was to back save it to 97-2015 and it worked.

      The incident that sparked the research was finding in the cellrange an @ in the formatting.

      It did not however “solve the issue” but rerouted.
