Excel Table not placing at original Size

      I have an Excel table that measures 7.5″ wide using 8pt arial text. I have a ID text frame that measures 45p0 wide which I calculate to be the same as the table width. Maybe I’m using the wrong conversion factor.
      When I place the table it comes in at 47p5 wide which spills out of the text frame.
      I tried making the table smaller and got it down to 7″ wide; still too large for the text frame, but smaller.

      Is there something that I’m missing about placing Excel files?
      What do I need to do to get this table into ID…preferably at the 7.5″ width?
