      Hi everyone,

I’m working on a recipes book.
The indesign book (.indb) is made up of 5 main chapters; each chapter contains subsections; each subsection contains the recipes. So, a 3 levels TOC. The 3 levels (titles) are all correctly stylized inside each document. I already set a TOC style perfectly working, and I putted it in a final section at the end of the book.

This chapters are preceded by 6 small chapters (bio, title page, colophon etc.) that compose the introduction, but they don’t have a title to which I can link my TOC.

So, if i generate the TOC from styles I lost the introduction chapters; if I do it from filenames, obviously, I lost the 2nd and 3rd level containing subsections and recipes.

So the simple question, as per topic title:
Is there a way –any way– to merge the styles generated TOC with document filenames generated TOC, and have it at least on the e-pub navigation TOC?

And, in addition, is there a way to get a 3-levels TOC in the e-Pub? It seems it can’t get more than 2 levels…

Thanks to anyone for any help!

For the question about nested TOC, I just discovered that the problem I was experiencing was only related to iBooks (the other readers work right), and I found a thread about it, clarifying the fact that iBooks nested TOC is limited to only 2 levels. If there are no news about this, my only question remaining is the main question of the thread.
