I've been following Liz Castro's ebook instructions for creating an epub from InDesign (CS6) for viewing in iBooks on the iPad3.

Liz says that a 600 x 860 pixel image fills a single page view on the iPad. Is that still true for the Retina-display iPad3?

I want to control my images so they don't span multiple pages (which some are doing at the moment), so I'm thinking I should maybe reduce all my images to a 600 x 860 pixel maximum. But I don't want to degrade viewing on an iPad3, or on other yet-to-come hi-res epub viewing devices.

I'd also value advice about the new image settings in the ID Export to EPUB dailog box. What's Best Practice ppi output? 300ppi? Or does 150ppi cover the bases just fine?
