drop shadow applies to graphics frame not image

      When I apply a drop shadow to my image, the drop shadow applies around the graphics frame not the image. I have a text wrap around the image which is working correctly for the text around it but when I select the image and apply a drop shadow to it, the drop shadow ignores the image and applies itself to the frame only. Any help would be much appreciated.

      Perhaps the image doesn't have a clipping path set. Or maybe the image frame has a white fill.

      Thanks Seaner. Your response sent me down the path that caused me to figure out what I had done which was to have accidentally used a jpg image instead of my psd source file. It all works perfectly now.
