Drag and zoom with mouse

      If I hold both Ctrl and Alt together, I can zoom by scrolling and drag by holding the left mouse button, This is really useful, except I keep mis-keying and entering errant spaces in text. How do I change this so the mouse functions for drag and zoom operate from Alt + something else?
