I am having a problem with image resolution, both on-screen and when printing. Please note: this is not a problem with display performance.

I have been attempting to drag and drop graphics between two InDesign documents (I am using CS3). According to the CS3 help file, this should not be a problem (https://livedocs.adobe.com/en_U…..-6bbb.html). However, although the links appear to be preserved, the images become very blurry when dragged into the destination document.

I have tried updating the links, but they stay fuzzy. A traditionally placed image appears correctly, but I cannot figure out what the difference between the two images is. I really don't want to have to go in and re-place each and every image.

Apologies if this is vague. I can try to clarify the situation if anyone has the remotest idea what I'm talking about.
