    Hi,

    I have a problem with this file in my ebook https://83.84.193.100/ebook/metrokaart.pdf
    When I use it in a ebook it is no longer sharp by zooming.
    When I use only the pdf file in Adobe Reader or Calibre it’s sharp to the end.
    So I have 2 questions
    1 is it possible to get the file properly in my book or
    2 is het possible tot download the file through a hyperlink in my ebook

    Hi Zeger,

    Since PDF is not a supported format in EPUB, the placed PDF gets rasterised in one of the image formats (JPEG, PNG or GIF) depending on export settings and hence there is a loss of sharpness or quality.
    You can however specify hyperlink on text or an image which points to this PDF in your EPUB. Since the URL’s open up in a browser (which means you are no longer in iBooks), so the PDF does not really get downloaded in your EPUB, you can just view it in the browser and get back to the EPUB in iBooks after exiting browser.
