Does InDesign XML support Footnotes

      How to handle footnote in XML Workflow like Non – XML workflow(InDesign Footnote feature) without disturbing xml structure. We are handling the books which are having more than 100-500 footnotes. Placing at the bottom of the page as per the citation, resizing main and footnote text frame takes more time consuming and manual work.

      The questions is copied word-for-word from a query at the Adobe forums in May 2012, except for changing the number of footnotes. Wouldn’t it be polite to at least acknowledge that older thread?
