Hello, I work on high volumes of long textbooks/study guides for students. We supply them as PDF (A4, so they can print), ePub and html versions.
Using anchored text boxes (with Object styles) within threads is time-consuming but necessary to provide <div> classes for css.
It would be MUCH quicker if there was an InDesign Div Styles panel where I could apply a class for css to a section that needs different styling between PDF and ePub/html versions. These sections often contain 5 different Paragraph Styles so I need to add some kind of wrapper.

Is anyone aware of a “cheat” for this?

Or, if I ask Adobe REALLY nicely, will they add it to the next iteration of InDesign? :)

      Cheers, James

      Try with indesign.uservoice.com!
      Maybe they’re are listening.

I use a lot of anchored objects, don’t you like those?

Hi Claudio, thanks, I will have a look at indesign.uservoice.com

We do use anchored object but there are lots (and lots!) – I am trying to speed up up the workflow. I can GREP in the empty frames but still have to paste the section text and add an Object style to the frames.

      Many thanks, James

Maybe you could script some process to make it more affordable and less time consuming.
