Disappearing Effects

      Hi,

      I am having some display problems. All effects, drop shadows, feathers, gradients and transparencies display for a little while then disappear. Everything prints fine but sometimes it's difficult to work on pages without seeing these things.

      I have deleted preferences multiple times but this problem keeps coming back.

      Has anyone had a similar problem or any suggestions to fix?

      After trying some things out I believe this is a screen redraw problem. Sometimes ID the display will update if I zoom in and out other times I have to restart the program. I found the redraw shortcut but that is not doing much.
