I have a small problem exporting a CS5 doc to Interactive PDF with a Flash movie embedded. The movie is working fine, but it knocks out any content above or behind. Is this just the way it works or am I missing an option? Even placing the items on different layers and creating a layered PDF doesn't help.

      Cheers

Actually figured it out. It's a Acrobat bug rather than InDesign. Now I just have to fgure out why the swf's are resizing themselves!

This is driving me mad now. I create a simple animation in InDesign, I export the object as swf and the reimport it back so it'll play in a pdf. However, when I create the PDF, the content of the frame is reduced by about 75%. The frame is the correct size, just the content is reduced. I've checked the size settings when exporting and everything is at 100%

      Any thoughts?

Did you place the frame over the border of the page? Sometimes this confuses Acrobat because it wants to show the whole thing.

What’s about your placeholder image settings? Did you use an image as a first frame? Sorry, I don’t know the English term.

I gave up in the end and just exported to SWF instead. I tired vector, image and even type placeholders and I had the same problems with each. As far as I can work out, if I view the pdf at 75% the place holder is perfect but anything above and the place holder won't scale.
