One of my coworkers reached out to me with some strange InDesign behavior. When she switches between preview and normal mode, InDesign shows an older version of the changes that were made. I did a quick search and saw that this issue had been around for a while, but I didn’t see a solution. I asked her if they were repurposing a previous document (as it could have inherited issues). The next time she comes across this issue, I suggested she try saving the file as an IDML and then open it and resave it as an INDD to see if it flushes out the issue. But if anyone has a proven solution, I welcome it. Thanks in advance!

Whoa. That is very, very weird. I agree that the IDML route might work. But even before that, I’d suggest choosing View > CPU Preview (or View > GPU Preview, depending on which is selected). Sometimes switching that clears up display oddities.

Thanks, David… I guess I should have mentioned, that for work, we live in the PC world. (Although at home, I’m a Mac girl).
