      Hi all!
Recently i’ve been working on a book edition, I made several changes in Indesign on some paragraphs like: flush spaces, forced line break, em space, etc. It happens that I wanted to delete all of them: important>not stop seeing “the hidden characters”, I want to erase them on several paragraphs but not manually, can anybody help me?
      Thank you

Try using the built-in GREP saved query under the Find/Change dialog box.

The query is called “Multiple Space to Single Space”

      Hope that works for you.

Hi! Thank you, it helps me a lot, but I’m still trying to figure out how to erase all the discretionary hyphens: I’ve already find them with ^- on the “Search” field but I don’t know what to write on the “Change” field to give the instruction of “delete”

If you want to delete the discretionary hyphens, then leave the change field blank. You don’t need to replace them with anything.

They will be deleted and replaced with nothing.
