I am making name badges and want to use ID5 to merge 1000+ first and last names into the template. The problem is that with so many names, there are bound to be some that will not fit the one line width that is allocated for the text frame(s).

Is there any way to get a text frame to automatically adjust the font size so that a long name will fit in the space in the template? I have done this in the past with –dare I say it– MS Publisher, that has a great feature in that it auto-sizes the text to fit.

I can't find any such options in ID5 in either the text frame, object styles, paragraph styles, or even character style to handle this situation. Is there a hidden option, or even a script to do this? Currently I must do the merge, and then modify each text frame that has overset text in it.

      Thanks for your help.
