I’m playing with layers, master pages, pages and boxes of text.
First of all, is there a way to identify which layer is the default layer ? I mean, as I’ve renamed layers including the default I don’t remember the good one. I ask this because of the article I read (https://creativepro.com/why-red-boxes-instead-of-blue.php).
In fact my main problem is related to boxes of text and the color they uses… If I understand well (it’s maybe a challenge ;-) ) objects on a layer get colored to match it. Ok. I’ve got 3 pages: first is based from master page “first” and the others (#2, #3) are based from master pages “interior”.
-#2 & #3 have blue bounding boxes of text… this seems correct because they were created on the layer “Text” that I colored with blue. OK
– #1 has green bounding box of text. that’s the problem!
I have a green layer but it is only for guides not for text. More, on my master page ‘first”, the blue text box is well associated with the “text” layer in blue …. So I do not understand … Did I miss something ? Last thing, If I unckeck all the layers (eye icon) all my pages are “blank” except the first page which still remains with text …with green frame…. this text does not appear to be associated with a layer…
it will be better to add screenshot but I don’t know if possible with this forum…
