      hi,

I am learning Insign with CS5 and having problem with 'Preview spread mood' function. It was working fine but since yesterday (actually it happend before so I tried re-installed then worked fine then it happend again..) The 'preview' shows me ONLY 1 page (always left side) so I can not check right page nor check general looking. I have no idea how to fix this thing..

woud you help me please? it is disturbing my work a lot..

      Thank you so much..!

(I wish I could attach photo file but seems I can not..)

      jjjas-

The preview spread feature only shows you the targeted spread. It's possible you're viewing a different spread.

Check the Pages panel. The targeted spread has its page number in white surrounded by a black square.

Also, in the document window, if you're looking at a spread that is not targeted, its rulers are grayed out.

You can view AND target a spread by double clicking it in the Pages panel. Do that before you preview a spread and you should be fine.

This has been reported on this forum a couple of times:

Fritz mentioned it back in July: https://creativepro.com/forum/general-indesign-topics/preview-panel-bug-in-cs5

      and here's another one:

The answer appears to be to reset your preferences. Frustrating bug!

Interesting. I can't replicate the problem. As long as the spread is targeted, I can preview animations on all pages as expected. Though I did recently reset prefs (for a different reason). Ah well.
